Is it hot enough for you? The heat has come...and it's not going anywhere. Today was the sixth consecutive day that the mercury has gone above ninety degrees. While the hot weather is something that some people like, we have to remember that we are in a drought and parts of the west coast are dealing with terrible fires. My heart goes out to those in Northern California, Southern Oregon and parts of Wyoming. Wildfires are part of the natural process, but they are incredibly destructive and can cause issues far into the future.
If you want more hot weather, well it's here. Tomorrow we will go for ninety once again.

We did it! We hit ninety. The National Weather Service in Portland made it official earlier this afternoon.
4:26 PM | We just hit 90° here at our office in NE Portland. Lots of 4 PM temperatures at inland sites were 87-89° and may still hit 90° today, keeping the streak alive. Lots of sites looking at a 7th straight day of 90°+ today.— NWS Portland (@NWSPortland) July 28, 2018
Have hope! Cooler temperatures are on their way. We will get into the eighties and stay there for most of the upcoming week.
