Happy Saturday! It was a pretty good day weather wise. Temperatures were in the upper 70's to lower 80's. It was a perfect day if you ask me. Tomorrow, Mother's Day, will be equally as awesome, maybe seven to ten degrees warmer.
One of the things I love about working at the bar is the random requests I get from people who I don't think would be country music fans. Perfect example last night...a gentleman requested two old school classic songs and I knew he was a true fan. His final request however caught me off guard. He wanted to hear "Speed" by Montgomery Gentry. Not only is this my favorite song by the duo, but it was also the first time I had heard it since Troy passed away. I was really glad it was requested and I really enjoyed listening to it. I have a lot of emotions surrounding this band and I'm still in shock. Take a listen and remember that life is short. Make sure to make the most of it!
Tomorrow is Mother's Day. Make sure to talk with your mom if you can. Let her know that you love her and you are thankful for her!
