Day 114...And The Lights Went Out

Day 114...

The solar eclipse has now faded into the past and we all want more from it. The next one is only seven years away. Today was a gorgeous day weatherwise, even a little on the hot side. I washed my car yesterday at one of those do it yourself places with the high pressure hoses. The water didn't really drain all that well so when I went to run errands this afternoon, I could hear the water sloshing around under the hood. When I got back home, I opened the hood of my car and noticed another problem...there was very little coolant in the tank. I headed over to AutoZone to pick up the coolant. Came back home and filled the tank back up. I hope that will help with the slight overheating issue I've had since the great winter of 2016-2017.

Tonight I met up with Ryan, one of the former bouncers from the bar. It was good to reconnect with him and just chat about life, country music, and how we see things going in the future.

After leaving, I got a call from home stating the power was out. I drove down 99W and sure enough no power in the neighborhood. I made a quick lap around the substation and saw PGE working to restore power. It was quite the sight to see the neighborhood with no power. It was dark, but very awesome. I tried to capture a timelapse on the GoPro but it didn't work.  The power just came on a couple minutes ago and all is right, well except my weather station in the house. It looks like its having a rave. I hope it goes away.

PS. I know that I haven't been the best friend to people sometimes and that I've let some relationships suffer because I haven't invested the time or energy to sustain them. I apologize to anyone who feels this way toward me. Please reach out and let me know.
