I spent some time going through some old audio I had accumulated over the last seven years working in radio. A bunch of it was in a raw format and I had just banked it for later. I came across some audio that I was going to use for a feature during basketball season. I was going to make a quick story out of it, but after listening to it tonight, I am going to make a podcast using it. I'm going to take a look at what happens when a player is traded to another team. I talked with Geoff Clark with the Blazers about the Ruben Patterson trade and how he will deal with the uniforms and other items. I hope to have it done at weeks end.
On a positive note, the evacuation order was lifted at Black Butte Ranch this evening at 6pm. The fire is still burning very close to the ranch, some 1300 feet away from the closet house. This mornings heavy rain storm really slowed the fire down and allowed the ground crews to continue to re-enforce the fire breaks. The ranch remains at a level 2 meaning that guests and residents need to be ready to leave a moments notice.
