Sports This Week.....

Oregon and Oregon State took care of business this last weekend. The ducks are now 13 in both polls. Looking ahead to this upcoming week. After having to deal with traffic up and down I-5 this weekend, the freeway gets a break. Both the ducks and beavers head south to open up Pac-10 play. My duckies head to the farm and the new Stanford Stadium. Kick off is 7pm and I have a feeling that Oregon might go Whites and Greens. OSU heads to the desert to take on "The Pride of The Desert" aka Arizona State. Kick off is at 7pm and the temp will be HOT at that time. The forecast high is 100. It will probably end up being something like 103. The air doesn't move at that stadium. I did a post game show from the roof at midnight and the temp was a balmy 91. Good times. Speaking of Oregon State, The President and The White House will welcome Oregon State's baseball team on Friday. That would be a fun trip. The highlight of the week isn't scheduled quite yet. Mike Golub told us on Sports Business Radio this evening that the Blazers will schedule a press conference with Greg Oden sometime this week. I can't wait to talk to the big guy.
