Here comes the heat once again. The National Weather Service in Portland has issued an "Excessive Heat Watch" for the Willamette Valley going into effect Monday morning and lasting late into the night Tuesday. Here is the advisory full text.
Very hot conditions return across much of the region. Back to the 90s Sunday, and staying hot for much of the week. Overnight temperatures (especially Monday night) will remain quite warm.— NWS Portland (@NWSPortland) July 22, 2018
Have a plan for this week: Stay hydrated, stay cool, stay safe. #orwx #wawx #pdxtst pic.twitter.com/wNiHbpHy9l
Temperatures will remain well into the 90's through the week and into next weekend. Several models tonight are suggesting that we could even be looking at triple digits Saturday. Make sure you can stay hydrated and stay cool if at all possible.
