Days 297...298...

Day 297...

Whew, it's been one of those days.  Before I get to the snow that is currently falling really hard outside, I want to go back to this afternoon.  For lunch today we went to the Beaverton Sub Station in downtown Beaverton.  This place was almost as big for me as was Beaverton Bakery.  My dad worked at the bakery for most of the time I was growing up and eventually after high school I worked there for a bit too.  The sub shop was a place we eat at, a lot.  The owner Chuck was always friendly and the food was amazing.  My twin sister Emily wanted to go to see if Chuck was still there and to introduce my niece and nephew to a part of our childhood.  As soon I as set foot inside, the memories came flooding back.  The smell, the old menu board in yellow, all the train memorabilia, and my favorite train picture, it was still there like time had yet to pass.  We ordered lunch, reconnected with Chuck, and when we left, a piece of me felt incomplete.  I knew it was the fact that I wouldn't be seeing my dad if I had walked down to the window where he worked at the bakery.  While it did choke me up, I knew that he was still in a better place.  Would've been nice to say to him again.

Alright, back to the present.  It's snowing outside! If you've been watching my Facebook LIVE videos over the last couple nights, you saw I moved outside this afternoon.  I'd rather be out in the elements anyways.  I believe its more fun.  If you missed it, check it out here.

I wanted to show you a picture from "behind the scenes" if you can call it that.  Someone asked if I really had a production staff with me.  I joked on several videos about my twin sister and my mother being my producers.  It is actually halfway true.  They would monitor comments and if I missed them, they would relay them to me.  This was the setup for outside tonight.

I hope everyone can enjoy the snow.  It's really peaceful to watch it fall.

Day 298...

Happy Thursday Everyone!  That was an exciting twenty four hours if you like crazy snowy weather. The snow was coming down hard last night around midnight and then it shut off.  Once the heavy shower passed, the street started to melt and by the time I went to bed around 2:30, most of the roads were just wet pavement.  When I work up this morning, most of the snow had melted and most metro area schools were on a two hour late start.  The snow threat is now over for most of us going forward through the weekend.  Thank you again for all the support with the videos over the last couple days.  I love being able to interact with everyone.

On a separate note, I wanted to let you all know that The CorserCast is now up on iTunes.  It's available here.

I hope everyone has an awesome Friday!
