Open Championship and Waiting In Line

Tiger Woods' bid to come from behind failed once again. No worries. Tiger has just about a month until heading over the pond until he will play in the Open Championship, aka the British Open. I took a look at all the different ways a player can qualify for the Open Championship. There are 29 total categories. Tigers name appears in 7 of the 29 categories. Tiger is only eligible to be in 9 of the 29. He is only missing a US Open Win (last three years) and PGA Tour Players Championship (last three years). Tiger has to be the favorite this year again, he will be defending his title from last year.

Bobby Rant:
I stood in line outside a semi popular club in Portland Saturday night before leaving and heading to the westside of town. I've been to this club before and have never had any issues. This week, the club hired a security company that didn't let anyone in the door, they didn't even let the club host and DJ in when they were supposed too. It was very annoying. If you are going to do club security, don't tell everyone in line that the club down the street is open and there aren't any lines over there. Its stupid to drive away business. Clubs depend on the take at the door and the amount of drinks sold at the bar. IF you are driving away business, then you shouldn't be providing security (or a lack there of)for any club.
