Happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great Monday.  A couple weeks ago I was walking around Fry's down in Wilsonville.  I had gone in to take a look at camcorders.  Before you ask "don't you have a cell phone?," yes I do, but I also have a degree in TV production, so a camera will still deliver a better picture than any cell phone.  Upon looking at cameras, I wanted to see what they had for portable recording devices.  I have the laptop and microphone and control board, but being confined to one place to tape podcasts and interviews is limiting.  I found what I was looking for in the Tascam DX-10.  This was the recorder I had when I was at iHeart.  The functionality was great and the ease of use is second to none.  I found that the price at Fry's was better than anywhere else, by almost $50 dollars. I knew I had to get it.  This afternoon, I got it.  In addition to the recorder, I picked up a Pelican Case.  The next purchase will be a microphone.  Mobile kit is almost finished.
