Day 136....
Today while at PDX, I saw coach Lou Holtz, yes that Lou Holtz. I have no idea why he was there, I can only venture a guess that it was for a connecting flight.
Today I was reminded how life has its ebbs and flows. One moment we think we have our dream job and a company where we can retire from, only to have it ripped away or the company folds. The feeling of losing what you have built and the chance to not say goodbye can make one feel like they are worthless. I can tell you I've been both sides of the loss. It's never fun, but please understand that someone else's decision doesn't mean you are worthless, it just means that you are meant for better things down the line. I don't want this to be a pep talk, but someone might find it useful like I did today. Have a great Thursday everyone.
