A long week of days 72-75...
Normally I wouldn't have this long of a break from the blog, but I needed it. I have applied for some pretty awesome jobs this week. I'm hopeful to hear back from a couple of them.
I've been pretty blessed to be able to spend a lot of time with family and friends during this break. While I would much rather had been working, this is just what I needed. The chance to see my niece and nephew really grow and a chance to see my family grow closer.
When I was laid off, I really wasn't worried about things because I knew it was time for a mental break. I'm not one to spend money in large amounts outside of bills, so financially I was going to be okay. As we have moved into the middle of July, my attention is beginning to turn to the music festivals coming up at the end of the month and into August. I'm super excited for seeing the Country Crossings Festival in Medford, and of course the Oregon Jamboree and the chance to work with my all time favorite boss, Teresa.
