Day 57...
Today started off with a rumble. Morning storms drifted up the valley and gave some of us a nice show. Morning storms are rare and usually make for a great time to chase. I didn't take that opportunity but will need to get out on a chase this summer.
Eastern Oregon got into the action today with several severe storms around the Pendleton area this afternoon. A lot of lightning, strong winds, and strong rain dotted the landscape. Satellite imagery from GOES 16 was quite impressive.
