Happy Monday everyone. Today was one of those days where a long weekend catches up with me. I was looking forward to watching the hearing on the hill regarding Russia. I was up watching most of it and I came away from it like I always do. We have smart people and not smart people. We have people who govern us and people who are there to make a show, staring themselves. I won't identify who I think was doing that, but there were people on both sides of the isle doing it. That's my political rant for today.
I'm impressed each day as my niece and nephew continue to grow. My niece Annie can hit a ball like no one I've seen. I'll be calling Oregon and Coach Mike White here in a couple years. Don't tell her parents. My nephew Will is incredibly intelligent and an awesome athlete. I'm blessed to see them grow each and every day. I love them.
As this Monday comes to an end, I wanted to leave you with one thing that crossed my mind today. No matter what happens in Washington or Salem, or any state capitol....We are all responsible for ourselves. Take care of your family, friends, neighbors, and those we hold close to our hearts. Pray for people, talk to people. Make sure people know you are there for them. To have a friend, you have to be a friend.
