Saying Good Bye To A Legend

It is never easy saying goodbye to any one. Today was just one of those days. Jim Bosley, simply known as "The Boz", passed away yesterday. I found while looking for a story online. I was blown back by the headline. I quickly emailed a former boss who knew him well. She was sad and upset. It was a tough day at KATU and in the Portland media scene. The Boz was a gentle giant who always had a smile and calming voice that let you know it would be ok. I had the pleasure of meeting, the weather god in my eyes, a few times when I interned at KATU. He would just stop by and chat with all of us and wanted to know how life was. He was larger than life. He was truly the ambassador of the station and the northwest.
