Sports Business Radio wanted to take an in depth look at the new University of Oregon and IMG broadcast and marketing deal. Tim Roberts, the man in charge of the Oregon Sports Network, joined us on Sports Business Radio this past Sunday. We talked with Tim about the history of OSN and where the network and University is headed. The interview can be heard by clicking here.
Everyone knows that baseball is returning to the University as an official sport. We asked Tim about the broadcasting deal for baseball. He says that every game will be available on the radio and that 10-15 games will be on TV. Fans of football will see some new features around Autzen Stadium this season. On a personal note here, I am an member of the Duck Athletic Fund. As a donor, I am pleased that Oregon and IMG have been able to get this deal worked out and the results from this partnership will be felt for years to come.
