I was watching CNBC this morning, yes its early. I has hit upside the head with the news that my favorite television network is now for sale. The Weather Channel has been put on the selling block by parent company Landmark Communications. The New York Times broke the story late yesterday. Here is the story ! TWC for Sale
No word from TWC yet. The parent company has confirmed that they have hired two firms to oversee the sales of the different media partners they own. It will be interesting to follow this story as it unfolds. Weather.com ranks 18th overall in total hits in the United States.
