The Blazers won their 8th straight game tonight by beating a very tough New Orleans Hornets squad. The Blazers struggled through the first half and managed to find themselves down only two at the break. The second half was different, the Blazers found their shots and played good defense. New Orleans made a comeback, but after turnovers and great inside play, the Blazers pulled it out. I had a chance to catch up with Channing Frye, Brandon Roy, and Jarrett Jack in the locker room.
Blazers Talk About 8 In A Row
The Blazers had to overcome a flight home from a Sunday game in Denver and the quick turn around to tonights game. They will practice Tuesday and take on Toronto on Wednesday. If they can get past the Raptors, they can go for 10 in a row when they host Denver on Friday.
