As the birthday weekend has come to end, I'm reminded that I am truly blessed to have amazing people in my life. Thank you to all who took time out of their schedules to call, write, text, or message me a birthday greeting. I'm humbled that all of you are in my life.
This afternoon, a few thousand miles away, a story four and half years in the making was taking place. Phil Mickelson, 47, beat a guy almost half his age in a one hole playoff. Mickelson's birdie putt lipped out in disbelief as the crowd in Mexico City gasped. Justin Thomas, had a six foot putt for par to force a second playoff hole. Thomas hit the putt and instantly knew it wasn't going in. Phil's drought was over.

Following the win, the walkoff interview with Steve Sands of Golf Channel was a lesson in never giving up. Thank you for the reminder Phil!
