Days 231...232...233...234...235...236...237...

Day 231...

What a disappointing bowl game by Oregon.  The first half looked like a bad team, but leave it to the defense to score two touchdowns in less than 30 seconds.  The Ducks played better in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late.  I'm excited however for the program.  Under Coach Cristobal, I think they will be just fine.

Day 232...

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Day 233...

Welcome to Monday and another week.  I hope everyone has a great week as we head into Christmas.  It is truly the most wonderful time of the year.

Day 234...

Happy Tuesday.  I'm trying to figure out what to get everyone on my list.  If you have any suggestions, let me know.

Day 235...

Happy Wednesday!  Some interesting weather could be shaping up for the weekend.  Models are looking very very interesting.  Time to get into winter weather mode.

Day 236...

Thursday Y'all!  I hope everyone has had a good week.  I mentioned yesterday that the weather is looking interesting, and in the last 24 hours, it really has started to shape that way even more.  Here is the Facebook LIVE I did with my twin sister we did earlier talking about the chance of snow.

It's been really fun having Emily pop on when doing these.  She adds a more human element than just me talking about models and weather.

Day 237...

Well look at that...snow...on Christmas Eve.  Side note, there has only been one true "White Christmas" in Portland.  During the 2008 snowstorms, there was snow falling on that Christmas day. There are several times where snow was on the ground for Christmas, but only one where it fell.

Onto Christmas Eve and the chance of snow...  The WRF-GFS MM5 for UW says we could be looking at a couple inches.  Here is the graphic from tonight's 00Z run.

That's a solid two inches for most of the Portland Metro Area.  I'm still not sold that the low will do what we want and come in south of town.  We shall see.
