Happy Tuesday! I had a phone interview today for really amazing opportunity. I'd appreciate some prayers. I think the interview went well and will wait to hear about the next steps. With meteorological winter approaching, just a reminder to have your car serviced and make sure everything is good to go.
Day 214...
Wednesday! Last night I was over at the bar for one of our instructors surprise birthday parties. I had a lot of fun listening to some new music that people are two stepping too. It was a blast and I'm really glad I went!
Day 215...
It's my favorite day of the week! It's Thursday! What a fun night so far here at the bar. It's a little less busy, but also the first night without our manager Adam. I could feel it off a bit, but that's to be expected. One cool piece of technology news, as you've followed here on the blog, GOES-16, the new Eastern Coverage Geostationary satellite was placed into safe mode as it drifts into the place where it will remain. Here are two tweets from NOAA/NWS about it.
This is the last image we received from the GOES-16 satellite today before it stopped transmitting data in preparation for its 2-week drift to its permanent GOES-East position. pic.twitter.com/gknCt6NvsT— NWS Spokane (@NWSSpokane) November 30, 2017
Sensors aboard @NOAA's #GOES16 have been placed into safe mode while the satellite drifts into it's permanent East position over the next 12 days. GOES-16 resumes normal operations Dec. 14-20, 2017. Here's a final parting loop from the Center position. pic.twitter.com/exQM6ewmtJ— NASA SPoRT (@NASA_SPoRT) November 30, 2017
Day 216...
Happy Friday everyone! A nice day has turned into a showery evening. I love rain in the NW at night. I love the feeling and the sound. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I can't wait to see where Oregon ends up playing in a bowl game. Now the question...will Willie Taggart remain at Oregon? My guess is yes.
