Day 77...

To venture out or not? That was tonight's pressing question. The buzz around town this weekend was the potential for the Auroras (Northern Lights) to make an appearance. It's pretty rare to have them this far south, so anytime it's forecasted, people tend to take notice. The twin sister and I headed out just before 10:30 to see if we could catch a glimpse. Unfortunately we didn't see anything. The updated forecast came out and basically said our chance tonight had passed. We stopped at 7-11, wheezed the juice and bounced. Now you're asking yourself what did I just read? Quick...three bonus points for movie title and character that the previous reference was making...I paid for my slurpee and was content to have spent some time with my twin. Tomorrow night offers another possible shot of seeing some geomagnetic storm particles interact with the atmosphere. Enjoy it.
