Day 22...

Welcome to the first of what could be many hot days for Oregon.  With that said, we will have to wait a week for another day above 90 degrees.  Today's high at PDX was officially 91.  Tuesday's forecast has it down about ten degrees, and turning even chillier by Wednesday.

The dramatic temperature swings from just a couple days ago up to today are really a challenge for someone us.  We go from 60's to 90's and we all start complaining how much we can't stand the heat.  I hear you all doing it, I've done it too.  We are starting to get out of our wet season and get into the dry weather.  Dry weather usually lasts from late June / early July, to the middle part of September.  It will not be uncommon to have several days of HOT weather going forward.  Most climate models say we can expect a warm summer.  We shall see how it plays out.

I hope everyone got the enjoy the first real taste of summer weather today.  It was a nice change and it was really nice to be outside around 9:30 tonight with the temperature in the mid 70's.  It was perfect for driving with the windows down.
