Weekend 8 Picks

Here are the picks from the boys. Editorial note: The views of Todd Mansfield don't reflect those of this blog or the other predictors.

Ryan Wenzinger:

Oregon

Mike Barrett:

Washington 31 Oregon 24
This won’t be easy for the Ducks, as the Huskies have played well at home this season. This Locker kid looks like he’s going to be another Tim Tebow with the way he runs the ball. He makes some mistakes, and some bad throws, but if he limits those miscues, the Huskies will pull the upset. The Ducks are so shorthanded offensively now, and this will be the first sign that they’re really being hurt by it. It probably hurts them more mentally than physically.

Joe Reitzug:

Oregon 44-10

Jeremy Daw:

Todd Mansfield:

Let's be honest Duck fans...the media is treating you just
like all Republicans treat Americans, like you are an
idiot. If you make Americans live in fear and they will do
anything you want.

Why should the Ducks (Superior) be afraid of the
Huskies(Inferior)? Can the Huskies stop a spread offense?
No. Can Jake Locker score 7 TD's by himself? No. Then shut
up! WE don't need to discuss this anymore.

Don't be a moron and live in fear because of a supposed
Rivalry that hasn't had a decent game in years. Oh and by
the way Duck fans, can you please write to the Ducks
athletic Department and ask them to stop playing that
stupid interception from over 20 years ago. (The Pick as its known, took place in 1994, thats 13 years ago) That's history.
It doesn't matter anymore. Oregon State doesn't get all
jacked up over hilights from 1969 - that's the last time
they were good from over 20 years ago...it just happens to
be 38 years ago. It's insulting to the players of today and
of the last 10 years. It means nothing they have
accomplished is worth shouting about. This Saturday, Duck
faithful will have something worth shouting about, a huge
win. Count on it. Ducks by 20!

Thor Waage:

Bobby:

The Ducks have a true road test. While the Huskies are down this year and on the way up over the next few, Oregon’s losses at Wide Out will be seen. However, with that said, The Ducks show off the up and coming crop of receivers including Aaron Pflugrad. Jason Williams takes the boys on his back and together with Dixon and J Stew, The Ducks Blow Out The Huskies in Seattle. Remember this is the first time that J Stew has played in front of his home town.
Ducks 48 Washington 14

Travis Demers:

Ducks Win but don't cover the 13 spread points
