Maybe its just me......I woke up this morning to a light rain falling outside my window. The first thought in my head was to check email and the usual sites to see if the Blazers had scheduled the post surgery press conference yet. I wanted to see if anyone had any details on the operation. Nothing yet. I looked back out the window and the rain was still falling. It was peaceful. It was nothing like the emotions and reactions that Blazers fans and the media that covers the team are feeling. WE ALL WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN. We won't know much until the procedure is over. I say take a break, relax, enjoy the cooler weather, and think about how one knee has the whole world turned upside down. No matter what the outcome today, Portland still had the number one pick, drafted Greg Oden and he is a Blazer today and more importantly, tomorrow as well. I wish him luck with a speedy recovery.
Updated 12:00pm. Well maybe the sign of rain was really just GOD feeling bad for the Blazers fan. Oden is most likely done for the year. Click on the title for the Blazers announcement. Its a sad day in the Rose City, but Blazers fans need to keep a head held high. The young core is still going to be good. Don't worry ! Greg, get well soon !
