Fun on a Tuesday Afternoon

I just got back from the Blazers Practice Facility to see the team one more time before they head off to summer league action. Nate McMillan sat under the far basket for some of the practice. It was a smaller than usual media crowd as only two tv stations, one paper and one radio station were in attendence. I say smaller based on the fact that all four tv stations, four radio stations and three papers usually cover the Blazers on a day to day basis. In the years past, its not surprising to have one or two radio stations and a beat writer or two at any given practice, but with Oden the number one pick, I'm sure that the media coverage at practice won't be so small anymore. I've also noticed that The Blazers have been out on national tv a lot more since they earned the number one pick. It is still a little hard to believe, but since the Big Man has shown up...I don't blame Portland for being out there. It is really good exposure for the team and the city. I love walking by the satellite uplink trucks in the parking lot wondering who is going to be on where. Yesterday, Kevin Pritchard went on P.T.I.

Every now and then I have some fun just poking around on the web. I came across one of my all time favorite sites, churchsigngenerator.com. For those of you who haven't been there, I highly suggest you check it out. You can put any message you want on a church sign. I think real church signs are cool.
